We rent out houses for families with (young) children. We don’t just add any property to our platform. The Big Parasol works together with a variety of owners and managers that have a holiday home to let and who agree to our conditions. Grass, pool gates, table tennis or climbing frame, near the beach or a village, few stairs or a stair gate, and all kinds of other baby or children's items that are present in the house so you have less stress when going on holiday.
Before a house is booked, contact can be made with the owner. We can help with the booking process, but it is best to ask the owner directly when it comes to specific questions about the house, its surroundings and what you can expect from the property (if that is not clear on the website). They know their property and have overall responsibility for it.
As already mentioned, we don’t just add any property to our website. We meet with agents and professional managers and talk to them extensively.
Selected owners can put their house online, but these properties are also inspected for child-friendliness and quality. In addition, they only receive the rental amount when you, the guest, have been present at the property for 24 hours. If there is a problem within that time, we like to hear about it so that we can take steps to address the issue. An extra piece of security.
After their stay, we always ask our clients to review their accommodation, so that future tenants know even more about what they can expect.
